There were 348 housing units at an average density of 536.2 per square mile (206.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.75% White, 0.40% Native American, 0.13% Asian, 0.13% from other races, and 1.59% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.19% of the population.
There were 321 households out of which 30.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.1% were married couples living together, 6.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.8% were non-families. 35.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 21.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
